THEY WALK IN LINE to Release Heart Attack @ 5am” July 13

Los Angeles-based band releases their new single of their upcoming record.

LOS ANGELES, CA (PRWEB) June 18, 2004 -- THEY WALK IN LINE will release Heart Attack @ 5am” the first single off their upcoming full-length debut, ‘Medical Necessities, on Tuesday, July 13, via the bands websites www.theywalkinline.com and www.myspace.com/theywalkinline.

THEY WALK IN LINE formed in May 2001 under the moniker Gravity.” The original idea was to bring four like-minded musicians into a collective writing project. At the outset, there were no intentions of building a band atmosphere, but nature took its course. After recording demos in the summer of 2001, the boys decided to move forward as a performance quartet releasing the The Gravity EP” in early 2003. Radio took an immediate liking to the material helping the initial offering to achieve #7 on the album specialty charts and Pension for Fairfax” as a top 25 single.

After spending most of 2002 and 2003 sharpening their live show and touring the Southwest, TWIL began working on material that would later become the All Mine E.P.” All Mine E.P.,” released in January of 2004, dropped as the #2 Album @ Specialty while All Mine” cracked the top 10 in the singles chart.

THEY WALK IN LINE recently completed work on its latest offering, ‘Medical Necessities.” TWILs first full-length, the record offers 10 new songs produced and recorded in collaboration with Hot Pie Music. Hot Pies contributions from Jerry Direnzio (Cell, Ugly Beauty, Lotusland) and Mark Lewis (Idaho, West Indian Girl) helped TWIL craft a sonically structured approach reminiscent of Sonic Youth and Echo & The Bunnymen. The group has yet to settle on a label for the new offering.
