MyXstuff.com is a place to display items for trade or give away. MyXstuff.com provides a radical new way for networking by allowing knowledge as trade collateral. The trade transaction/method and trade collateral is up to the members or visitors and correspondence is tracked in the user space as the trade offers. MyXstuff.com is in Beta phase and ready for public release. It is a woman owned website based in Boulder, CO.

(PRWEB) June 20, 2004 -- You dont need money: Although you can make an offer for items with money, it is not required. Trade collateral can be anything the members define; knowledge, favors, other posted items. Its all up to the correspondence between the members. Knowledge is as good as money; you can trade your knowledge for stuff.

MyXstuff.com is Networking centric, not money centric: This makes it more personable. Members define what they want and what they have to offer. Choose who you trade with based on profile, location and fit, not by the highest bidder. Ideal trade partners are more than just the person with the biggest pocket book. It is location, common interest, or a good win-win fit. MyXstuff.com is a radical new way of networking. Members can establish long term connections by making a good trade/match. MyXstuff.com offers a direct connection with your peers. Members can search for what they want or what others want (wish list) and contact them directly.

It is also an easy way to give away stuff and get free stuff.

Membership is FREE. It is an inexpensive eBay alternative. Heres how it works:

Take IT: Allows you to immediately email the owner of the item to make a trade offer, or express interest in the trade or give away item.
    
Hold IT: Book marks the item in your trade space to email owner at a later time.
    
Leave IT: Moves to next item.

Giveaways:
Are free to post and are free to all to take. This is a great alternative to dropping stuff off at goodwill by matching your item up with those who need it. These items are indicated by 'This Item is a Giveaway' text on each item.

Trade Stuff:
You can upload your items up for trade in your user space called My Closet.

Trade Collateral: Anything can be trade collateral. Some examples are provided in the subject list. Trade for a smile, trade for stuff posted in member's closet, trade for knowledge, advice or favors... All of this is up to the agreement of the parties involved (The Trade Pals).

Offers/Trade Transactions:
Offers- Trade correspondence is maintained by the offers between the users. An offer is an email sent from one user to another. The first offer starts when one user clicks 'Take IT' and sends an email to the owner of the item. In addition to the email notice the receiving user will also see this as an offer in his/her closet space indicated next to the item.
My Offers- The user that sends this original offer also gets a record of the offer under their user space and can reference this under 'My Trades' in his/her user space next to the item.

Membership
Trade Pals:
All registered members are considered Trade Pals. All Trade Pals must agree and adhere to the User Agreement in order to ensure that MyXstuff.com remains a fun and safe e-environment for all involved. As a Trade Pal you have full access to your member user space.

Membership is FREE.

My User Space

       My Profile: Tell us a little about yourself in "My Profile", express what is on your "Wish List", and what skills/knowledge/favors you have for trade.
       My Closet: Post and edit items you have for trade here and track the offers made for each item via the 'Offers' link.
       My Trades: Track your Take IT or Hold IT items and maintain your correspondence of the trade via the 'My Offers' link.
       Trade Pals: Bookmarks members that are your favorite. You can quickly find them and enter their closets.

Ratings/Reviews
MyXstuff.com provides members with ways to pre-determine the success of a trade through reviews and member stats.

Giveaways: The number of your successful Giveaways

Successful Trades:
The number of trades you successfully make. Only another Trade Pal can confirm this once the item has been received and deleted from their 'My Trades' space.

Popularity:
Your popularity depends on how many friends you bring to MyXstuff.com via the Send this Item to a friend! link or how many friends enter your email address in the referred by box when they register. It also factors in the number of your successful Giveaways. The top 5 popular Trade Pals will have links to their closet listed on the main page of each category.

Reviews:
You can leave a review for a member after a trade is made. This will assist other users access good Trade Pals for future trading fun!
