LONDON VOODOO wins BEST JURY AWARD at Boston International Film Festival
LONDON VOODOO, the British independent the psychological horror movie, won the BEST JURY AWARD for NARRATIVE FEATURE at the Boston International Film Festival.
LONDON VOODOO is writer/director Robert Pratten's debut feature film. This is the forth festival award the film has recieved.

LONDON VOODOO is the debut feature film of writer/director, Robert Pratten and tells the story of an American family that emigrates to England and disintegrates into Londons disturbing past. It stars Sara Stewart who is set to appear in the forth-coming Batman Begins as Martha Wayne and features multi-award winning Swedes Sven-Bertil Taube & Michael Nyqvist. The original soundtrack has been created by Siouxsie & The Banshees Steven Severin.
The film has received great reviews by film critics and fans who feel it signals a return to the glory days of horror when the story was more important that the special effects. Robert Pratten comments: "Forget whatever you think you know about voodoo films because this one is a million miles from anything you've seen before. It's an entertaining, scary and thought-provoking movie about a marriage breakdown caused by a husband's ambition and exacerbated by supernatural events. Distribution of the film in North America is being handled by Heretic Films (www.hereticfilms.com) and starts a theatrical release next month in selected theatres. Heretic also plan a DVD premiere signing for the film on Saturday August 14 at this years Horrorfind Weekend IV, being held August 13-15 in Hunt Valley, MD. LONDON VOODOO writer/director Robert Pratten will be on hand to autograph copies of the disc purchased at the event.
