The History of CuraFlo
CuraFlo was started under the name West Coast Pipe Restoration Ltd. in 1996 and since then have been spearheading the technology, systems and processes for restoring (copper, galvanized, ductile iron, steel, brass, lead and stainless) pipe systems inside commercial and institutional buildings and then lining them with a NSF-61 approved epoxy.
Since the fall of 2002 CuraFlo is marketing its technologies, systems and processes under the name CuraFlo Technologies Inc. and Curapoxy and building a growing network of dealers and service providers across the USA.
The Basic Steps of the CuraFlo Process?
The four part CuraFlo pipe lining process includes:
1. A diagnostic review of the water delivery system; and
2. A valve system upgrade; and
3. An abrasive airflow cleaning of all pipe interiors; and
4. Application of a tough epoxy lining that hardens in 45 minutes enabling water service restoration in just 5 hours.
The fast and efficient service brings the pipe system up to, or beyond NSF-61 standards. (The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) International is reputed to set the toughest standard in the world for products that come in contact with drinking water).
