Information Security Corporation (ISC) today announced the immediate availability of SecretAgent Mobile for Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003. Intended to simplify the management of sensitive documents stored on handheld devices, the latest version of ISCs leading security tool for the Pocket PC platform includes many enhancements: a new workflow paradigm, additional encryption options, ANSI-compliant digital signatures, automated key history management, and support for platform-independent security policies.

Intended to simplify the management of sensitive documents stored on handheld devices, the latest version of ISCs leading security tool for the Pocket PC platform includes many enhancements: a new workflow paradigm, additional encryption options, ANSI-compliant digital signatures, automated key history management, and support for platform-independent security policies.

To promote ease-of-use and facilitate the sharing of encrypted archives, SecretAgent Mobile is the first member of the ISC product family to treat those archives as editable documents. The creator, or any designated recipient, of a SecretAgent archive can open (i.e., decrypt) it for viewing and/or editing. If SecretAgent Mobile detects any changes to the contents when the archive is closed, it will automatically re-encrypt it with its original recipient list intact. (Of course, a user can modify the recipient list, if they wish, before closing the archive.)
