RamSoft Appoints US Sales Agent
RamSoft, Inc., a leading developer of PACS & Teleradiology Software Solutions has named Cogent Medical Systems, Inc., the National Sales Agent for RamSoft in the United States effective July 1, 2004.
Cogent Medical Systems will support a distribution channel of Systems Integrators, and Resellers in the marketing of the RamSoft Products, and will look to add additional partners where market coverage is deemed appropriate.

RamSoft has been developing software for the Hospital and Imaging Center Market since 1994, offering a web based Digital Imaging Solution as well as key software components to address the needs of Hospital, Imaging Center, and IDN facilities to provide solutions from basic Teleradiology needs to PACS.
Cogent Medical Systems, Inc. is headed by Paul J. Vilary, who has over ten years experience in this market working both in supporting distribution channel sales efforts as well as direct marketing to national and regional accounts. Most recently, this experience was as Vice President of Sales for a Systems Integrator and National Distributor of RadWorks Software in the US market. "RamSoft has developed an extremely comprehensive product offering that can respond to the needs of facilities whether it is basic teleradiology, or filmless PACS deployment, and provides scaleable, non-proprietary solutions to allow customers to tailor the product to meet workflow and budgetary needs of the particular facility," said Mr. Vilary. "In addition, the RamSoft Product Line offers architecture and capability extremely similar to that of the RadWorks Product offering marketed in the 1990s and early 2000, and provides an excellent alternative to groups using current or previous versions of the RadWorks Software.
