Eracent and LicenseLogic Announce Cooperative Certified Software Manager Training Program

Eracent, Inc. announced today that, through a joint program with LicenseLogic LLC, Eracent customers and referred companies will receive a 10% discount on all of SIIAs Certified Software Manager (CSM) training courses, taught by LicenseLogic.

(PRWEB) July 9, 2004 -- Eracent, Inc. announced today that, through a joint program with LicenseLogic LLC, Eracent customers and referred companies will receive a 10% discount on all of SIIAs Certified Software Manager (CSM) training courses, taught by LicenseLogic. The CSM certification is internationally recognized, and holders of the certification are acknowledged as software licensing and compliance subject matter experts. The courses train the participants how to identify the components of an effective software management plan, understand complex software license agreements, reduce or eliminate their companys liability for copyright infringement and how to negotiate more favorable software license agreements.

Commenting on the alliance, Ed Cartier, Eracents VP of Marketing said that, We feel this is an excellent way for our customers and potential customers to learn how to maximize the value they receive from Eracents EnterpriseAM software. Eracent and LicenseLogic are really in the same business, that of helping their customers effectively manage their IT asset infrastructure." Adam Ayer, LicenseLogics President added that "Education is a key component to any software compliance program. Without proper software compliance education companies are bound to develop problem areas. The CSM Seminar educates an organization's IT asset managers and IT buyers, to give them the tools they need to help implement a full functioning and effective software compliance plan."

LicenseLogic is also closely aligned with the Software &Information Industry Association (SIIA). Keith Kupferschmid, VP of Intellectual Property Policy and Enforcement at SIIA said, We think the CSM certification is very important for any IT professional who is involved with software license management and compliance. Companies can see a real return on investment from the CSM training and can potentially save hundreds of thousands of dollars by being in full compliance with their software licenses."

Eracent customers and referred companies can log onto the LicenseLogic website (www.licenselogic.com) to register for any of the upcoming classes. Currently the training seminars are scheduled for July and August in Boston, New York, Buffalo Grove, Illinois and Washington, DC. To receive the 10% discount interested parties should log onto the Eracent website (www.eracent.com), and click the LicenseLogic Special Offer" button on the home page.
