New York City, NY (PRWEB) July 17, 2004 -- The LifeSkill Institute, Inc. announced release of The Twelve Universal Laws of Success, Second Edition, Expanded (ISBN 0-9748362-1-4; 200p., $14.95) by international author Herbert Harris. The first edition received international acclaim being translated into Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

This 21st Century version of Napoleon Hills Think and Grow Rich" organizes basic principles of personal success into twelve bible-based universal laws. Each law is presented with its biblical and metaphysical foundations while demonstrating step-by-step action techniques to apply the law and get desired results. General success concepts are presented in a crystal clear fashion that holds the readers attention and encourages personal mastery.

Perfect for readers who want to quickly learn the keys to success and immediately put their knowledge into action. Each law has its own chapter that ends with a concise summary of the information covered. A study guide at the end of each chapter helps the reader retain and master the material. Parents with children who are making career decisions will find this book extremely helpful.

The book provides background information on harmonic relationships, the conscious and subconscious minds, and a section on how to study. It covers ways to improve the self-image while overcoming procrastination, fear and worry. The nine-step success plan shows the reader how to get things done. Principles of time management, wealth accumulation and self-discipline are covered in a straightforward, easy to execute manner. The step-by-step formula for achieving personal goals is a breakthrough for most people who have consistently fallen short in achieving success.

Author Herbert Harris developed the principles covered in the book over a lifetime of unique challenges and singular achievements. He received a special scholarship to attend Columbia University after his junior year without first completing high school. Graduating from Columbia University with a BA degree, majoring in physics, Mr. Harris did research in theoretical and high-energy physics.

Leaving the scientific arena, Herbert Harris took advantage of the New York State Clerkship Law to become a lawyer without attending law school. Under the tutelage of distinguished New York attorney Benjamin Sneed, Harris taught himself law and passed the New York State Bar Examination. Herbert is probably the last person, and one of the few, if any, African Americans to be admitted to practice law in the State of New York without ever attending law school.

Mr. Harris writes Thoughts For Success, a nationally syndicated newspaper column distributed to over 200 newspapers.

Other books by Herbert Harris include How To Make Money In Music, a highly popular guidebook to the music industry co-authored with Lucien Farrar and published by Arco/Prentice Hall.

Retiring from his law practice to pursue a full-time writing and lecturing career, Mr. Harris is a personal coach, sales trainer, success consultant and Master Facilitator. He divides his time between writing, speaking, and conducting LifeSkill® Workshops and Seminars.
