Hosted Solutions Acquires Redundant Networks Raleigh Area Data Center And Client Base

Hosted Solutions, formerly Springboard Managed Hosting, the Carolina’s leading data center and managed hosting company, has acquired the 14,000 square-foot North Raleigh data center and client base of competitor Redundant Networks, and plans to add at least 10 new IT jobs in the coming months as a result.

Headquartered in Cary, Hosted Solutions cites strong market demand as the catalyst behind the purchase of the state-of-the-art data center with 12,000 square-feet of custom cages and rack space and an additional 2,000 square-feet of office space. Hosted Solutions also owns and operates an 11,000 square-foot facility in Cary, and a 15,000 square-foot facility in Charlotte, which is a sister facility to the newly acquired North Raleigh location. The Charlotte and Raleigh facilities were designed and built to operate together, and interconnected with the 4th largest backbone provider in the world, are widely considered by many industry observers to be the most advanced data centers in the southeast.
