Sharing the True American with the World

ASA International believes that opening doors through cross-cultural understanding will promote peace and understanding throughout the World. By hosting an International student, you will enrich your life and the life of others around you. Your family will make relationships that will last a lifetime. HELP create a worldwide family by embracing your new son or daughter with an open heart and a caring family.

(PRWEB) July 24, 2004 -- WHERE'S the WORLD HEADED?
The answers may be more up to you than you think. Now more than ever, America needs families like yours to host exchange students. Foreign exchange is the best way to make diplomacy more effective against the poisonous image of the United States that is deliberately propagated around the world. You will offer your selected student a first hand experience of the true American life, including family, church, culture, recreation, community and much more.

What you may not know, and what these hosting families are too modest to tell you, is that, behind closed doors, they are striving to make a difference, one friendship at a time. By sharing their daily lives, their affection, and their food on the table - one by one, they are answering the call to become true ambassadors of American lives."

Perhaps youve met them at church, at school events, read about them in the local newspaper, the PTA, or at the office where you work. Maybe they live in that house down the street, the one that always seems a bit too crammed full of kids. You wonder if these nice folks are just a little bit crazy to take someone elses child and a teenager from across the world, no less.

There is no such thing as a ‘typical host family. A warm, successful student/family bond does not depend on whether there are same ages children present in the home. In fact, it is not uncommon for young families, childless couples, empty nesters and retirees, to embrace the opportunity to share their lives.

Financial support is relativity insignificant, though most host families will enjoy providing the extras." Students arrive with their own spending money and full health insurance. The host familys contributes room and board, and welcomes the student as a member of their family for a semester or full academic year.

For the 2004-2005 school years, ASA International, a highly regarded non-profit high school exchange student organization based in Indiana, will welcome many high school age teenagers to the U.S. Its central mission is to promote global peace and understanding, by Sharing the True America with the World". ASA International believes that when Americans embrace the worlds youth, we invite a more promising future for all of humanity to share.

Please join us in opening doors for peace and understanding thru youth as we Share the True American with the World." ASA International is a non-profit program. Please join us as we open doors to the true American by calling 877-562-7135 or visit our website.
