Entertainment PC Powered By Meedio Software Wins Home Cinema Choice Best Buy Award
EPC's Fidelity II media center PC powered by Meedio software wins Home Cinema Choice magazine's Best Buy Award and five out of five stars for it's Meedio software interface.
Houston, TX (PRWEB) July 27, 2004 -- Home theater equipment manufacturer Entertainment PC Ltd. (EPC) was chosen by Home Cinema Choice magazine to receive a Best Buy award for EPC's Fidelity II digital entertainment system powered by Meedio software. Meedio's rich graphical interface and ease-of-use won EPC five out of five stars in the software category.
"People don't believe the level of audio and video quality that you can achieve with a software-based system," EPC founder Ian Cox says. In fact, because of the careful selection of quality components, EPC was able to build a single system that exceeds the performance of many separate high-end A/V devices costing thousands more and requiring much more time to properly configure and use.
One of the most important components in EPC's systems is the user interface that ties everything together. Referring to Meedio's software, Home Cinema Choice magazine writes, "It's a simpler system than Media Centre and benefits greatly from it. There's far less tweaking to be done and set-up seems to be more automated even though it works on similar principles."
