Safyre Events Unlimited, a creative event planning/PR company, will showcase 10 creative designers in an upcoming high-end fashion show. The Ice Blue Fashion show is to be a creative and exciting show for all to enjoy. This show will benefit colon cancer research and prevention.
New York City, NY (PRWEB) July 28, 2004 -- Safyre Events Unlimited, a full service event planning company providing excellence in the field of entertainment, will launch the 1st Annual Safyre Ice Blue Charity Fashion Show in New York on Friday, August 6. With the help of such invited personalities as Ashley Olsen, The Cast of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Mya, Kim Catrall, and some of the fashion business worlds top executives; this event hopes to raise public awareness of colon cancer, and its prevention, detection and treatment.
Colorectal cancer – cancer of the colon or rectum – is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States for both men and women combined. The disease surpasses both breast and prostate cancer in mortality, second only to lung cancer in numbers of cancer deaths.
A portion of all proceeds will go to the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation, a national non-profit health foundation whose mission is the prevention and early detection of cancer through scientific research and education. The 1st Annual Safyre Ice Blue Charity Fashion Show will showcase the talent of ten amazing up-and-coming designers, a special runway appearance by Ebony Haith, Camille McDonald and Sarah Racey-Tabrizi of Americas Next Top Model fame, music, cocktails, vendors and much more.
