Exhibit Industry, Revival or Survival.
Is the trade show and exhibit industry in a revival mode or is it just surviving until the next bad wave?
(PRWEB) August 27, 2004 -- In recent months, we have experienced a surge in advertising and exhibit design growth.
Is this a cyclical phase or is this portion of the economy on a true rebound? When we refer to the economy” regarding the exhibit industry, its a world economy, not one relegated to a single country or continent.
Taking that into account, after the September 11th tragedy, the exhibit industry worldwide took a dramatic plunge in exbitor and exhibitee attendance. Many shows were canceled or had to combine with other forums or competitive venues in order to just remain in existence.
Is the growth we are experiencing due to icreased business, newly regained confidence,or just pure cyclical luck?
As in all cases, there are varying opinions on how to answer these questions. My favorite answer is Dont look a gift horse in the mouth.”
In the wake of the current world events and dramatic political climate, the resurgence of exhibition halls and advertising venues has done extremely well. With a coordinated effort throughout the industry, this continued growth will be sustained.
In an effort to aid this growth, Remington Laminations, is re-locating the southwestern region administration and distribution branches of its facitly to Grand Prairie, Texas. This will allow Remington Laminations to buck the trend and NOT increase prices as the top four competitors have done every year for the past three years.
Hopefully this small but significant gesture can be used as a "pay if forward" style plan to aid the entire advertising industry.
