About Cotton Exchange Bar
Cotton Exchange Bar, one of the most stately and magnificent buildings in Houston, The Old Cotton Exchange Building has been a historic institution in this dynamic city for many years and is registered with the Local, State and National Historic Societies. Eugene, T. Heiner, one of Houstons foremost architects, designed this building as a High Victorian version of a Renaissance palazzo in 1883 and construction began in June of 1884. The building was completed in November of 1884 and was the original offices of the Houston Cotton Exchange and Board of Trade. The ceilings, columns, flooring and murals are all-original and date back to construction.

This elegant space has now been painstakingly refurbished back to its original grandeur and has become the Cotton Exchange Bar. The Cotton Exchange Bar has a very relaxed and comfortable feel and allows its patrons to enjoy excellent wines, vintage cocktails, premium cigars and delicious appetizers in a historic setting.
