President Bush Loses his Home State of Texas in the Newest SqueezeVote.com Electoral Prediction Map

Senator Kerry rockets ahead by nearly 12% in one week to move Texas into his win column as Bush's electoral vote total plumments below 100 for the first time since the predictions began in early July.

STUDIO CITY, CALIFORNIA (PRWEB) August 23, 2004 -- SqueezeVote.com released their most recent Electoral Prediction Map Monday showing John Kerry with a commanding lead in the Electoral College and approaching a landslide. The current breakdown as of 08/23/04 is JOHN KERRY (346), GEORGE BUSH (88) with (104) Electoral votes from states that are still too close to call. The current map is available for viewing at http://www.squeezevote.com

Within the last week alone, Kerry has picked up the President's home state of Texas as well as the former "Swing" state of Georgia. President Bush picked up the former "Swing" states of Arkansas and Louisiana. Last week, Kerry took ownership of Florida which had previously been "Too close to call".

SqueezeVote.com hosts the "Battle of the Squeeze Dolls" and offers two of the hottest political novelties in the 2004 Election.

The George Bush Doll Squeeze Doll depicts The President in the flight suit he wore during an Aircraft Carrier Landing in 2003 with an over packed crotch he's giving the "Thumbs up", the John Kerry Squeeze Doll depicts him wearing flip-flop sandals while holding a stack of waffles and with a bottle of ketchup in his back pocket.

When a customer makes a purchase, they cast a vote for the candidate they support in the Presidential election. The vote is counted in the state to which their order is shipped. The Electoral Prediction's are created by these sales statistics.

The fun and innovative dolls are favored for Stress relief by voters who love to squeeze and torment their opponent. Nearly 1/2 of customers also buy the doll of the candidate they support with the intent to "Squeeze with affection".

Ron Howell of SqueezeVote.com points out "It's a fun way to tone down the negativity surrounding the election and take out your frustrations on the opposition. It's also a useful tool in encouraging voter participation and stimulating debate".

Each Sunday, the results are tabulated and added to the previous weeks totals. When one candidates total votes within a state is 51% or greater, that state and it's electoral votes are assigned to that candidate.

SqueezeVote.com produces a US Map visually depicting the assigned states (Bush - Red, Kerry - Blue or Too Close to call - Yellow).

Hi-resolution maps are available for media broadcast and/or reprint at http://www.squeezevote.com/press.html
