Fall Teen Mentoring Programs Start in Time for Schools; Mitch DeArmon Offers Winning Strategies for Adolescent Boys
Sonoma based mentoring organization LeadershipWorks with Mitch DeArmon announces new fall mentoring programs for teen boys and September 18th "Parenting Your Son" workshop for their families.
SANTA ROSA, CA (PRWEB) September 2, 2004 -- Critically-needed help for teen boys is available from LeadershipWorks, a Sonoma County mentoring and consulting organization developed by Mitch DeArmon, an authority on teenage boys.
With the start of school" says DeArmon, teenage boys need all the help they can get to survive the jolt from a carefree summer.
The first weeks back may be challenging for some kids. Young men arent motivated to discipline themselves which means they often have an especially hard time adjusting to the rules, responsibilities and structure that govern the school experience," according to DeArmon.
DeArmon offers a spectrum of programs for teenagers and their families designed to support them through this time including mentoring programs, parenting workshops and consulting. LeadershipWorks also works with administrators to bring mentoring programs into schools.
Fall Teen Mentoring
DeArmons LeadershipWorks mentoring programs offer a means for young men ages 13-18 to participate in weekly group sessions teaching the practice of accountability, leadership, responsibility (and having fun). DeArmon's unique perspective--earned helping thousands of young men and their families--puts him at the forefront of the urgent concern for male youth.

About Mitch DeArmon and LeadershipWorks

On Saturday, September 18, Mitch De Armon will conduct a Parenting Your Son" workshop in Santa Rosa designed to provide parents with critical survival skills to make it through the harrowing teen years. The 1/2 day program offers insight into the mind of the teen boy and real world strategies for addressing problem behavior through effective discipline and communication.
