Cole Harley Davidson / Harley Davidson of Wytheville Announces Third Annual Let Freedom Motorcycle Ride

Cole Harley Davidson / Harley Davidson of Wytheville is pleased to announce Let Freedom Ride III. The event is to create awareness of the troops defending our country in this war against terrorism. The event will be held from June 9th-12th, 2005.

Bluefield, West Virginia (PRWEB) September 5, 2004 -- On June 14, 2003 Let Freedom Ride made its debut in the state of West Virginia. This event was created to be an annual fundraiser and an awareness ride for our service men and women. In 2003, motorcyclist and attendees raised $4600 for the Armed Forces Emergency Services c/o the American Red Cross. The ride received local and regional coverage.

In 2004, the one day event turned into a three day weekend with activities spread out over southern West Virginia and ultimately raised $7100 for the Armed Forces Emergency Services.

In an effort to increase awareness to the war in Iraq and Afghanistan a committee has been formed to make Let Freedom Ride III a national success. The committee includes members from the two Virginias, as well as Atlanta, Georgia, where the creator of the http://www.letfreedomride.org resides.

This ride is for everybody and all motorcyclists are encouraged to participate. A variety of activities will take place during the 2005 4-day event.

Sponsorship allows for us to donate all proceeds to the Armed Forces Emergency Services. The committee is actively seeking sponsorship and entertainment throughout the 4-day weekend. It is our hopes to host several concerts, sports events, family night with entertainment for children and most importantly services to be held each day to remember and honor our service men and women.
