Cleaning Up After the Dead

Training center offers quarterly class teaching how to clean up after the dead.

Irving, TX (PRWEB) September 12, 2004 -- The AMDECON Training Center offers a quarterly, five-day certification course (next class: November 8–12, 2004) on how to clean up and decontaminate after a suicide, homicide, accident, or human decomposition.

The AMDECON Training Center (www.amdecon.com), a division of Biohazard Solutions (www.biohazardsolutions.com), is the leader in CTS Decon (crime and trauma scene decontamination) training. Biohazard Solutions, the premier crime and trauma scene decontamination contractor in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, is a pioneer in the state of Texas and is recognized as the entity setting the standards and continually raising the bar for safety and decontamination protocol. Biohazard Solutions is recognized by over 100 law enforcement agencies as the experts in the field of CTS Decon.

At the AMDECON Training Center (1.800.339.0911), students from around the world learn the correct and safe way to decontaminate and clean biological hazards. Using real-life, mock-up stations (made with animal blood and tissues), with all the visuals and odors, students gain hands-on experience working with suicide, homicide, industrial accident, human decomposition, and health hazard scenes.

Michael J. Tillman, founder and President of the AMDECON Training Center and Biohazard Solutions, is the instructor for each course. Mr. Tillman is certified in weapons of mass destruction, safety at clandestine drug labs, hazardous materials, and drug lab decontamination. Mr. Tillman is an OSHA-authorized instructor and has personally supervised over 500 crime and trauma scene decontaminations.

Biohazard Solutions was founded in 1999 after Mr. Tillman realized that families and property owners became secondary victims to crime and trauma when they had to perform the clean-up themselves. Mr. Tillman believed that this compounded grief and suffering and that he, and society as a whole, should do more to help.

The AMDECON Training Center is the only training facility in the world to offer a five-day, intensive course fully outlining the hazards, both physical and psychological, inherent in this new industry. The AMDECON Training Center teaches how to clean up and properly decontaminate hazardous scenes, dispose of biological waste, and abide by all OSHA standards and regulations. A full-day business segment, outlining how to start your own CTS Decon business is included in the training. Class size is limited to 30 students because of personal attention, detailed information, and hands-on exercises.

CTS Decon Specialists are always going to be needed. Deaths and accidents are a fact of life.
