WHAT HAPPENED TO MY DREAMS? Why people fail to achieve success in life and careers.

Why do people fail to achieve success in life and careers? That is the question millions of people ask every year. Why? And we'd like to know too.

(PRWEB) September 14, 2004 -- People around the world dream of being successful. They have dreams of being important, of being rich and of being happy. Yet dreams fade away. Why? Is the dream "real" or "imagined". What happened to that dream and why did it fail? How did "shooting for the starts" turn into "sand in the hands".

Bob dreamed of becoming a Vice President. He made it... and then was laid off and was forever lost and never regained his corporate stature.

Holly dreamed of becoming a pediatric nurse, but that never matured. But her story of helping children was fulfilled in her personal life.

Richard dreamed of being self employed and all he could think of was how rich he was going to become. He tried several businesses and was never able to make enough money to support his family. Today, he's an employee of a company and not very happy because he still wants his own business.

Tom climbed the corporate ladder because he dreamed of being someone special in his company. He was loyal to the firm, but he didn't know how to play the corporate game therefore he never reached the position he thought he was destined to achieve.

Do you have a story about a career or life dream that is still unfulfilled? Tom (TJ) Jones, author of "A Career Devotional" and several other career development books, tools and resources is searching for stories from everyday people who had a dream, but for some reason, it was never fulfilled. TJ is looking for people with those experiences. Those selected for inclusion in the book will help provide valuable lessons and research on what they learned and what they would do differently to make their dreams come true.

If you have a story or know someone who has a story you'd like to submit, you can recommend that story for consideration at www.careerlifepublishing.com/dreams.htm .
