Released this week, Fagoogle.com aims to generate well needed money for the gay community - an area in which lack of awareness causes problems for many people, straight or otherwise.
Fagoogle.com is a search engine based on the Google engine, which means the results, speeds, and quality is identical to Google, but with one major difference: the revenue it produces is used to fund awareness programs (mostly in schools) for the ongoing battle for gay rights.
Using Fagoogle is the same as using Google, a user simply types his/her search into the field, clicks search (or hits 'enter') and less than a second later, the results are returned.
Google, Inc. itself, has announced that Fagoogle.com is fully in compliance with Google regulations, and as such is neither endorsed, nor shunned by Google.
When a user enters a search on Fagoogle.com, the search is processed by Google, and the results are displayed in usual Google fashion, but with Fagoogle's sponsored text links (Adsense) at the header of the page instead of Google's. If a user chooses to click on these links, a small amount (depending on the search term) of money is deposited in the Fagoogle coffers - for use in matters of health, awareness, and support for the gay community.
