$10 MILLION SOUGHT IN CAMPAIGN TO AID VICTIMS OF THE BESLAN SCHOOL SIEGE

Ten million dollars is being sought in a campaign conducted by The International Foundation for Terror Act Victims to aid the survivors of the Beslan school tragedy.

The group is seeking money which will be distributed to the families of an estimated 600 injured and orphaned children, providing them with the means to pay for long term medical care and other vital expenses.

"This is Russia's equivalent of September 11 and the survivors need every bit of our help" said organizer, Andrew Mogilyansky. Donations ranging from $1 to $100,000 have been coming from all over the world to the Foundations web site, www.MoscowHelp.org.

"The passion and energy demonstrated by the volunteers and donors in this campaign is highly inspiring" said Gleb Klioner, a volunteer coordinator who recently joined the group.

The Foundation came into existence two years ago after the Nord-Ost theater siege crisis in Moscow where 100% of every dollar raised was disbursed to the victims families.

Because of this track record, CNN, The Russian Embassy and hundreds of private groups and organizations worldwide have endorsed this project and are providing invaluable assistance.

The Foundation, originally made up of American and Russian volunteers, has drawn supporters from all ethnicities and nationalities. In just 2 weeks, people from over 50 countries have taken part in this effort.

A large group of volunteers is already in Beslan collecting information on future assistance recipients. Emergency aid distribution is set to begin within days.

"Because our staff consists entirely of volunteers, we are able to operate virtually without administrative expenses and distribute 100% of every persons donation to victims families" said co-founder, Michael Ratner.

Corporations and charitable groups are encouraged to contact organizers. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity and all donations are tax-deductible.

Donations can be made at www.MoscowHelp.org or sent by check to: The International Foundation for Terror Act Victims, 959-A Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, USA
