Selling Warehouse Direct Indonesian Furniture Online

Have you ever considered moving to another country? This often means that you have to rebuild your career or business from scratch. Doing this doesnt have to be as daunting as it seems. E-commerce offers great opportunities to establish a viable business independent of your country of residence.

(PRWEB) September 25, 2004 -- In 2002, Glenn Madden decided to move from the United States to Indonesia in order to be with his wife and child. He set up an Internet business offering Web design services and also started selling collectibles and warehouse direct, hand-carved teak and mahogany furniture online.

Quality Furniture from Master Craftsmen

Since Glenn can source furniture directly from local producers in Indonesia, the hand-carved furniture he offers on his site http://tradur.com is significantly cheaper than retail prices in the U.S., Europe and Australia. He also offers the ability to custom build furniture by Indonesian master craftsmen according to customer specifications.

In addition, his collectibles site http://t456.com/collectibles and his Web design business http://web-design-companies.com enable Glenn to diversify his income stream.

About American TradUR Company
Glenn Madden owner of American TradUR Company is from Laurens, South Carolina. He was working for a large corporation in Greenwood SC up until two years ago installing process control systems. At first he started the American TradUR Company offering process control system services and web design http://web-design-companies.com. Later he added our gifts site at http://t456.com/collectibles, which he operates through a contract service out of California.

In 1998 he married Teti Rohmah Mutia in Indonesia whom he met while upgrading the computerized process control systems at a pharmaceutical factory located just outside of Jakarta. Teti moved back to the US with Glenn. In March 2000 they had a daughter, Tiara Mutia Madden. Due to continuous travels they never filed for immigrant status to the US.
In January 2001 Teti had problems to return to the US because of papers that were filed incorrectly with immigration. Glenn spent a year + trying to get Teti and Tiara back stateside. No luck, all the way up to the president. So in September 2002 he was making enough money from American TradUR Company to resign from the company he was working for and moved to Indonesia.

Our factory is owned Tetis brother, AA Saca whom has been supplying resellers that you find on the Internet for more than 15 years. We have recently brought in several new resellers whom have bought a considerable amount of furniture from us in the past 4 months. We are presently expanding our operation to include more direct wholesalers and individuals via the Internet wanting to save a lot of money for the best quality furniture.

Note From Glenn Madden...Our factory here is what I would call traditional. You will not see any flashy assembly lines. Everything is done the old fashioned way by hand as it has been done for hundreds of years. People in Indonesia are still willing to work for 25 thousand rupia a day, about $2.50 US. We do pay more than that to our workers. We have a large factory located near to Bandung and another one in Sumedang for our furniture production. We also have more than 50 homes that manufacture smaller items throughout the surrounding area. Our staff fluctuates from 25 to 500 people based on orders. We turn out orders in sizes of single item purchases to as much as a 40 ft container.
If you would like to visit our factory just give me a call and I will meet you at the airport personally. (62) 81 320618550. You are welcome to stay here in our humble home for the duration of your stay. But do not expect a big corporate red carpet rollout. We sell the furniture at a small margin of profit and live modestly. You will be treated as family while in our home. I want be entertaining you with a big party dinner are anything like that either. You will have to eat some of Tetis traditional Indonesian style food, some of the best. I would be more than willing to take you site seeing. Bandung has some wonderful places to visit that are not listed in any advertising brochures I have ever seen.
