Worlds Best” show to feature Presidential Billiards

Presidential Billiards is distinguished by its policy of hand carving high-end billiard tables and constructing game room furniture from exotic African hardwoods such as teak.

Deerfield Beach, FL (PRWEB) September 25, 2004 -- New Line Media Solutions is pleased to announce the selection of Presidential Billiards for its innovative, educational television series, Worlds Best.

Presidential Billiards is distinguished by its policy of hand carving high-end billiard tables and constructing game room furniture from exotic African hardwoods such as teak. This gives each table a unique flavor and embodies the character of the individual craftsman. The "Rhino-tuff" teak is not just attractive, but it is the hardest, most durable wood available, virtually indestructible as well as scratch- and dent-resistant. They are the only company that offers African Teak tables. The high quality of materials and superior construction ensure a long product life even under the most demanding conditions, and Presidential offers a limited lifetime warranty on all tables.

Presidential has its furniture manufactured in Zimbabwe by Wilson International, which was established in 1958 and employs 850 people. This family-owned business has developed a reputation as a supplier to some of the most recognized and prestigious domestic furniture companies as well as being suppliers of furniture for fine hotels, including Disneys Animal Kingdom hotel in Orlando, FL. The wood is harvested from the companys own forestry concessions in Africa. Only trees of a certain size can be cut; the smaller ones are left to grow. Using the African wood makes Presidential Billiards unique because the wood can only be shipped out of the country as a manufactured product, not as lumber. Presidential/Wilson cuts the teak, kiln dries it to their own requirements, manufactures the tables and distributes them to the retailer, with no middle-men and minimum of suppliers. Original designs are exclusive to Presidential Billiards, along with matching accessories.

The company also produces fine cue racks and other furniture, and the billiard tables are available in contemporary or traditional style.

When Elaine Gerber started Presidential Billiards five years ago, the company was very small. It has since distinguished itself for its quality products, outstanding service to dealers, unique designs, extensive hand carving, use of exotic woods, and more. Headquartered near Houston, TX, Presidential imports the tables, partially assembling them, packing and crating them, then shipping to dealers all over the country.
