Maximum Processing completes Web Based Medical Supply software project.
Our system was created to help the supplier do inter-departmental ordering of everything from office supplies to medical ingredients. Since the system is web based it allows the supplier to implement the system in a very short time span and give them a central location for all system maintenance.
(PRWEB) September 26, 2004 -- The medical supplier is a fully integrated biotechnology company founded in 1988. It is focused on developing and marketing products that address medical needs in areas such as infectious disease, immune regulation, and cancer. The company's capabilities span the entire spectrum of pharmaceutical development, including discovery research, clinical development, data analysis, regulatory affairs, quality control, manufacturing, and sales and marketing. They had more than 1 billion in revenue last year alone.
"Our system was created to help the supplier do inter-departmental ordering of everything from office supplies to medical ingredients. Since the system is web based it allows the supplier to implement the system in a very short time span and give them a central location for all system maintenance. Although this project was a little off of our P&C insurance focus we were interested in doing business with a large multinational organization to see how well our visual rate maker and core Athena system could handle a task outside of the insurance industry. We were impressed with how easily our developers were able to modify our core system to fit into the medical / supply field. On top of everything else - since the company is an FDA approved facility our system was subjected to stringent regulations for attack vulnerability and security such as SQL and HTML field injection testing, and it passed with flying colors!"
