Multiple Languages and Worldwide Addresses Top Enhancements for HireAbility's ALEX Resume Processor. New Features Enable Clients to Manage Proprietary Lists Online, Expand Capabilities

HireAbility.com is announcing today several enhancements to its ALEX resume processor. Full contextual parsing of multiple languages and worldwide address formats, along with online client skill lists, and fast integration top the highlights.

Salem, NH - September 29, 2004 - HireAbility.com(r), a leader in integrated recruiting software and services, announced today an array of new features and enhancements for its ALEX(sm) resume processor. Highlights include additional fully supported languages and address formats, an online client interface to manage proprietary skill lists, and fast, simple integration into existing systems.

HireAbility has added additional languages to ALEX's parsing capabilities. Moreover, full contextual processing of resumes written in multiple languages now yields results that are as accurate as those from English language resumes. ALEX also processes more worldwide physical address formats (in English and in native languages) accurately. When a client requests additional languages or address formats, HireAbility's linguistic experts perform the critical context analyses that ensure complete, accurate processing of resume data, and then incorporate that functionality into ALEX.

ALEX uses skill lists and hierarchies, including custom skill lists that are tailored to a client's particular market segment. HireAbility's clients asked for a web interface they could use to manage those lists. Now clients can edit and maintain their proprietary skill lists online, instead of sending new versions of their skill lists to HireAbility. Full control of their own specific skill lists makes it even easier for clients to analyze candidate data and find in the right candidate in their database.

ALEX's new developers' features, using the W3C's Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), make integration into existing HRMS applications so simple that it takes only minutes. HireAbility's web service uses .NET technology to further simplify integration of ALEX across multiple platforms with similar ease.
