TeleRep, a mid-sized call center, received certification from The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). WBENC provides access to a national standard of certification and information on certified women's businesses to purchasing managers and is the leading advocate for women-owned businesses as suppliers to over 700 national corporations.

Mrs. Olson started her business in 1976 working from her home using an old switchboard like the one used by Lily Tomlin's "Ernestine", but TeleRep now employs state-of-the-art call center technologies. TeleRep began as a traditional answering service and has grown substantially since 1996 to provide an array of award-winning advanced business processing services. Some of the awards include, Customer Inter@ction's Solutions MVP Quality Award, The Association of TeleServices International Award of Excellence, the DiversityBusiness.com awards, 'Top Diversity Owned Businesses in Maryland' and 'Top Small Business in Maryland'.
