Breast Cancer Support Center Teams with MeetUp.com

The Breast Cancer Support Center, a local non-profit organization which helps breast cancer survivors, has teamed up with the internet--based company, Meet-Up. The local group, sponsored by the Support Center and facilitated by breast cancer coach Dr. Talia Miller, meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:15 pm in Oakhurst, CA.

Oakhurst, CA (PRWEB) January 1, 2005 -- The Breast Cancer Support Center, a California non-profit organization which helps breast cancer survivors to become thrivers, has teamed up with the internet--based company, Meet-Up.

The Breast Cancer Support Center uses the services of a breast cancer coach to help women implement individualized integrated treatment and recovery options. Through combinations of Holistic Wellness Coaching, sound nutritional support, emotional release work, lifestyle changes, personal retreats and other powerful resources, the Center helps breast cancer survivors select and implement their optimum treatment program - so they stop the spread of breast cancer.

Through the internet-based Meetup, breast cancer survivors throughout the country are able to access any of the 312 support meetings around the world, listed on the meetup website.

The free, Oakhurst, CA Thrivers" meetup group, sponsored by the Support Center and facilitated by breast cancer coach Dr. Talia Miller, meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:15 pm in Oakhurst, CA. The next meeting is on January 12th. Visitors and first -- timers are encouraged to attend this free meeting of thrivers" - women who are committed to complete recovery and those who want to stop breast cancer.

The group is facilitated by breast cancer coach Dr. Talia Miller and Paula Sweat, a breast cancer survivor--turned-thriver. Both women are passionate about teaching the power of positive thought and holistic healing and recovery tools that have helped them thrive during their cancer experiences.
