Fibromyalgia May Have Met Its Match

A holistic chiropractor in Pittsburgh is apparently making a dent in Fibromyalgia. He is using technologies developed in Sweden, Russia, Australia, and Canada over the last 30 years.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) January 4, 2005 -- Dr. Lawrence DelRe is not your run-of-the-mill chiropractor. He has built the world's only robotic spinal motion analyzer, which is presently at Michigan State University. At this time he is building his own lasers and light therapy equipment. How? He is a Mensan with 3 degrees. Why? Here is what Dr. DelRe says: "I have been treating patients with muscle and ligament problems for 15 years. I have used all physical therapy modalities such as massage tables, ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation, diathermy, hot and cold packs, and the list goes on. I use none of them now."

He continues: "The only modalities utilized in my office are related to light therapies. I do this because of their safety and effectiveness. It is amazing to see tough rotator cuff problems resolve. It is the only modality I have seen which can really put a dent in the pain of Fibromyalgia, and I have had nice results with Rheumatoid Arthritis. This really makes me feel good, considering the alternatives for these unfortunate people."

Fibromyalgia has been called: "rheumatism of the muscles". No two cases seem to be alike, and this is because the etiologies are often unrelated. It can be brought on by a number of factors, including stress, virus, or injury. Many times there simply seems to be no reason. These people often can't sleep because of their pain, and the last resort alternatives of pain pills or injections are not good for one's health over time.
