CherishMe to Contribute Funds to UNICEF and the Tsunami Relief Efforts

Denver, CO January 4, 2005 CherishMe Invitations and Announcements is expanding its line to include childrens colorful letter panels in its effort to contribute to the relief efforts of the traumatic Tsunami in Asia.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) January 4, 2005 -- CherishMe Invitations and Announcements is expanding its line to include childrens colorful letter panels in its effort to contribute to the relief efforts of the traumatic Tsunami in Asia.

CherishMe will contribute 50% of its profit from the sale of their custom childrens letter panels to UNICEF, The United Nations Childrens Fund. The hand-painted custom panels are a fun whimsical way to personalize a child's special place in a home. The colorful letter blocks can be hung to spell a childs name in their nursery or play room. With the contribution to UNICEF the panels are a great symbolic gift of compassion for parents to give to their children.

The childrens custom letter blocks range in cost from $8 - $10 US dollars each. Orders will be taken by phone, fax and email. Sample images of the letter blocks are available at www.zozogroup.com/CherishMe/Home.html

The horrific tragedies faced by the surviving children of these nations are impossible to fully comprehend or put into words. But we at CherishMe, as well as many other individuals, feel it is possible to act, as help will be needed for a long time to come. UNICEF has had reports from the hardest-hit countries of hundreds of children separated from their families amidst the chaos of the sudden floods. It is a wonderful feeling to know that our designs which were painted for children will now also benefit the less fortunate children of the Tsunami tragedy. We are excited to have a way to contribute to the tremendous efforts of UNICEF." stated LaSheita Sayer the project manager for CherishMe. In addition to delivering relief supplies like water purification materials, clothing, blankets and medicines UNICEF is also delivering relief assistance to all the countries affected and is supporting governments throughout the region to assess and begin addressing the special needs of children.
