Annual Event Returns to Miami with Larger Crowd.

Market America, an Internet marketing company specializing in One-to-One Marketing and Mass Customization, today announced that it would hold its 2005 annual Leadership School conference in Miami for the fifth consecutive year. The event will be held Feb. 10-13, 2005 at the AmericanAirlines Arena. The four-day event will draw nearly 18,000 people to the downtown area.

The annual conference has become a Miami mainstay and regular boost to the local economy. Based upon estimates from the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, last year’s event generated an estimated $17 million for the Miami economy.

“The Market America family loves coming to Miami every year,” said James H. Ridinger, Market America’s president and CEO. “We hold these types of business events all over the country and Miami is always a favorite.”

The company uses the Miami event to launch new product lines and strengthen its distributors’ knowledge of existing lines. The company plans to launch new products this year, including Transitions™ Lifestyle System, a comprehensive lifestyle plan to lose weight and live healthy.

Transitions is being developed through a partnership with Dr. Shari Lieberman, renowned nutrition scientist and author of the best-selling book, “The Real Vitamin & Mineral Book” and more recently, “Dare To Lose.” Lieberman will also speak at the event and host education sessions about healthy eating and lifestyle.

Also speaking at the event will be Dr. Steven Lamm, clinical professor at Bellevue Hospital in New York, author of “The Hardness Factor” and “Younger at Last” and frequent guest on shows such as, “Oprah,” “Today,” and various other news programs.

Market America will also bring Miami native and Olympic bronze-medalist, Jennifer Rodriguez, back to her hometown to speak at the event. Rodriguez and her husband and Olympic speedskater, KC Boutiette are sponsored by the company during their quest for Olympic gold in Turin 2006.
