ProfessionalDriver and Popular Arts Entertainment Team Up on Three Branded Entertainment Projects

Recognizing changes, challenges and new opportunities in the advertising industry, Commercial Director Paul Fuentes and Executive Producer Bob Swensen have launched ProfessionalDriver, a bi-coastal branded-entertainment company.

Recognizing changes, challenges and new opportunities in the advertising industry, Commercial Director Paul Fuentes and Executive Producer Bob Swensen have launched ProfessionalDriver, a bi-coastal branded-entertainment company. Also, ProfessionalDriver recently had three of their branded entertainment projects optioned by Tim Braine and Kevin Meagher Co-CEO’s and Executive Producers of bi-coastal Popular Arts Entertainment.

Popular Arts Entertainment was established in September 1989, to produce reality and narrative programming for network, syndication and cable. The company brings together creative strengths in development, production, news and topical entertainment programming, promotion management and finance.

Fuentes, ProfessionalDriver’s Creative Director, brings his experience as Creative Director at HBO and a long, successful, award winning directing career. In addition to having directed over 100 celebrities and being a professional observer of the legendary Actors Studio in NY, Fuentes talents include the rare combination of noted designer and strong performance director. His branding experience includes award-winning campaigns for HBO, CBS, NBC and scores of commercials. Fuentes and Swensen met when Fuentes joined R/Greenberg Associates (RGA Live) in 1993, where he directed national TV commercials for clients ranging from Dominos Pizza, Mc Donald’s, CBS, Twix, The Sports Authority and IBM. After RG/A Fuentes began Huge, his own production company with Screen Gems where he continued directing commercials for clients including Glad, Florida Tourism and ESPN.

Swensen’s Executive Producer experience is based in branding, television network launches, promos and traditional advertising production for clients such as Showtime, TCM and HBO. Also, Swensen re-launched the branding and design for Lifetime Television, TNT, AMC, TMC and Sundance Channel's DocDay. He has been Executive Producer for RG/A NY, Warner Brothers Digital, Imaginary Forces L.A and Trollback & Company L.A.

In addition to a series in pre-production, Fuentes is presently directing spots for ESPN and Tostitos.
