Assurity Technologies, Inc., the developer of internal control software solutions including a process management system for the general ledger account reconciliation function, announced today the appointment of Daniel Salinas as a non-executive Director.

Daniel is the Global Offering Executive responsible for IBMÂs managed services in the desktop and server space. These services include hosting, software distribution, help desk, self help, anti-virus, spam, asset management, monitoring, backup and recovery services. As the Global Offering Executive, Daniel is responsible for delivering, developing, supporting and marketing these services across the globe.
Daniel is a business development and systems application specialist. His career with IBM has spanned 12 years, providing him with extensive experience developing, marketing and selling services through IBM direct and IBM Business Partner network.
Daniel began his career with IBM in 1993 as a Systems Engineer. In 1995, he was promoted to application development manager of IBMÂs hardware maintenance services, where he specialized in CRM, Financial and Business Controls systems. Daniel held this position as IBM evolved from a hardware based business model to a services led organization. In 1999, Daniel moved to the IBM Global Information Technology group, where he was responsible for implementation of a new business management system for matching revenue and cost. Daniel was promoted to his current position as Global Offering Executive in 2002.
Daniel holds an MBA and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
