“Our growth was being limited by our space,” says Lisa Wehr, Oneupweb President. “With the new building, we’ll be able to add more talent—technicians, sales and programmers.”

In 2004, Oneupweb expanded its marketing department by four positions, added more pay-per-click advertising staff and tripled the number of programmers maintaining and developing its technology.

“By the end of 2004 we grew 250 percent. But unbridled growth isn’t our plan—unbridled quality is,” says Wehr. “We plan to repeat what works—new technology to support our team; bright, service-oriented project managers and sales people who know what they’re talking about. Plus we’re going to launch some new things—you’ll just have to wait to see what those are.”

In 2004, Oneupweb launched ROI trax, a proprietary conversion analytics technology—the first designed specifically for search engine optimization and marketing. It created the industry’s first proactive agency partnership program, aligning itself with agencies like no other SEO/SEM and developed a blog specifically for the audience, “StraightUpSearch.”
