Pork Barrels Instead of Action Against Modern-Day Slavery and Other Terrorism?
How many billions of our tax dollars are going to, or otherwise being used, to try to pull the wool over our eyes in getting us to believe that "yes indeedee we are doing our all to stop these atrocities" i.e., the atrocities against us?
(PRWEB) January 7, 2005 -- How many people are aware that Unicef 's web site only provides input/contact for the purpose of donations?
How many people are aware that contacting government, non-government (NGO), including international, entities reportedly receiving "billions" of dollars to fight modern-day slavery and/or other terrorism will result in no response? This is particularly true of online or email requests, the safest means.
Appeals to these entities to help save a loved one will reveal that it is either impossible to bring anything to the attention of these entities through the "outreach" vehicles they provide, those entities will say that it is "not something we handle" or, and more likely, they will not provide acknowledgement at all, i.e., it will be as though the request fell into some black hole similar to the mysterious "black hole" of the Caribbean.

How many billions of our tax dollars are going to such entities? And how much of that is being used to try to have us believe that "we are doing our all to stop these atrocities?"
What is worst is how many of our loved ones are being lost due to such ineptness and how much of the suffering of so many of us is being additionally compounded by, not only futile appeals to these entities, but additionally aggravated by hearing of the billions being provided to them to, reportedly, rescue victims of modern-day slavery, or to fight other terrorism.
A loved one of a US modern-day slavery victim recently relayed:
"An American living outside the country feels that, just due to the high level people who know about (this situation), something just HAS to be done about it. My response was, 'I don't even know if David is still alive or, if he is, where he is being held.' I told him of my suspicions, supported by some of the things said in news stories, that, even if victims are being 'rescued' they are still being held, that, on the pretense of those holding them saying that these victims need to be kept in hiding, victims are still being held, are not permitted communication with loved ones, and loved ones are not being told of any of it. That this 'secrecy' in the way all of this is being handled is just another part of the terrorism to which so many of us are being subjected."
There are now reports of additional funds to "law enforcement" entities, who still claim to not know anything of this crime, who try to "institutionalize" anyone "crazy" enough to claim that it is happening, and will not honor any requests for investigation against possible modern-day slavery including sexual exploitation/abuse of even very young children or any of the other terrorism associated with all of this. Will the training they are supposed to be receiving through that funding result in those law enforcement entities re-opening cases that have been reported to them that they have refused to honor and/or failed to document, or inappropriately documented, or are those subject victims, loved ones of so many of us, to be simply written off?
Wee the plebes must establish the performance standards and demand enforcement.
Prerequisites of any entity, government, NGO, international, etc., receiving government funding for fighting modern-day slavery or other terrorist activity, should include verifiable capabilities and practices of, for example:
· Web site presence and access
· Logging and recording of all submissions
· Tracking/case numbers providing capability to accommodate later addition and/or change to information
· Optional username and password capability
· Effective means of public scrutiny
· "Spirit of Law" objective: accountability, action, and effectiveness
This would also enhance criminal/terrorism analysis, ensure more effective action against terrorism and better use those mega tax dollars.
