Revolutionary, New Baby Dish Holder Takes Stress Out of Mealtime

Rich Media Technologies, Inc. announces the release of the PlatePal, a revolutionary new baby dish holder that provides your baby with a sanitary, secure eating surface anytime, anywhere. The PlatePal keeps babys dish and food where it belongs-on the table, not on the floor!

Englewood, CO (PRWEB) January 8, 2005 -- Rich Media Technologies, Inc. has just announced the release of its new product, PlatePal, a patented gripping device designed to hold a babys dish securely, enabling babies and toddlers in the self-feeding stages to eat from a secure, sanitary dish. Introduced at the American Baby Faire in Atlanta in September, 2004, the PlatePal is now in final production and ready for mass marketing.

Like the majority of innovative products, the PlatePal was created to solve a problem-how to provide a germ-free eating surface anywhere, anytime. Designed by Jason Rich, owner of Rich Media Technologies, Inc., the PlatePal was the solution to eliminating the mess created by his daughter as she learned to feed herself, particularly in restaurants. According to his wife, Jenn, ...we tried several solutions to no avail. Finally, in May we were leaving for a three-week business trip/vacation and I told my husband it was going to be impossible to eat in restaurants three times a day for three weeks if I had to continue feeding her directly off of the table or by constantly holding her plate or bowl." After many experiments, he came up with a solution that is durable and does not rely on suction cups or disposable mats.

The unique clamping action of the PlatePal allows it to be attached to almost any type of table, even cloth covered ones. It can also be used on chair arms, high chairs, strollers, thus making it easy to help a child learn to use utensils and self feed. The parent simply attaches the opposing Velcro®, which is included, to the childs favorite dish or bowl and then secures the dish to the Velcro top of the PlatePal, allowing the child to eat from her own sanitary dish-keeping it on the table and off the floor.

Since the introduction in September, other uses beyond the baby and toddler market include hospitals, handicapped, nursing homes, and boat and RV owners.
