Experts Launch New Site to Answer Questions about ADD

Living Well with ADD -- New goal for ADDvance.com .

Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 10, 2005 -- Living Well with ADD -- New goal for ADDvance.com

You may be a parent searching for information to help your child, an adult experiencing problems at work, a high school or college student struggling to keep up, a young adult trying to take charge of your own life, a woman whose daily life feels overwhelming, or a professional looking for information to help your clients with ADD (ADHD). Whoever you are, whatever your questions, ADDvance.com is a new website designed to assist you in finding the answers you're looking for.

The founders of this site, Patricia Quinn, M.D. and Kathleen Nadeau, Ph.D., are both internationally recognized authorities on ADD and authors of many books for children, teens, and adults. Initially ADDvance.com focused only on the long-overlooked needs of women and girls with ADD. Now this new and expanded site has been developed to address the varied needs of all people with ADD across the lifespan.

ADD affects every aspect of life and every aspect of life has an effect upon ADD. Where you live, how you live and the people you encounter on a daily basis can all affect the challenges of ADD for better or worse.
Weve got lots to share that can help those with ADD at any age. During our many years of working with people with ADD, we have learned many creative solutions to ADD challenges." says Dr. Kathleen Nadeau, one of the co-founders of ADDvance.com . And in our new ADD-Friendly Living section, we provide not only answers, but tools, tips, and strategies to create a more ADD-friendly lifestyle."

The goal of this section and the site is to help people with ADD and their families make changes in their daily living patterns and in their environment that will create a more ADD-friendly lifestyle. In particular, Drs. Quinn and Nadeau hope to teach people how to work with their ADD instead of always fighting against it.

In addition, the site offers a FREE monthly electronic newsletter, ADDvice for ADD-Friendly Living. Each newsletter will feature ADD-friendly items and services in addition to tips on approaches that can be adopted to make life with ADD run more smoothly.
