Artist Peter Teekamp's Inspiration Offered on Ebay to Help Tsunami Victims

Artist Peter Teekamp has joined thousands of others offering their talent in exchange for donations to the Tsunami victims.

(PRWEB) January 13, 2005 -- Inspired by the tremendous tragedy, the canvas depicts the ascension of Spirits and Angels to heaven and the whole world joining together to help. North Bend Artist/Muralist Teekamp has put the painting on Ebay (Item #3777180375) and wants to send whatever donation is received 100% to the Save the Children 2004 Tsunami relief Fund.

Artists all over the world are using their talents to contribute in one of the world's most devastating tragedies. People from all age groups and all walks of life are realizing a need to be part of the solution and are coming together to support one another like never before in history. Teekamp feels the painting inspired by the recent events is meant to be a contribution. It is given with a message of hope and gratitude for all that are responding to the calls for help.

Born in Amsterdam Holland 1950, Teekamp has been painting nearly his entire life and has traveled to many countries where he has left behind his murals as well as many canvases. He considers himself a painter of the Spirit and fills his compositions with Angels and symbolism about the wonders and mysteries of life. One of his oldest and most-cherished pieces is titled "Pass It On" from 1974. A dove passing a rose on to the fish which translated to the "Spirit brings Love to Life". The Spirit of "Pass It On" is also true for the response to aid and cry for help in Asia. Like no other time in history the need to pass it on is great and at a time when the earth and man need love and healing, rebuilding and resolution.

Now residing in Washington state, Teekamp has also completed a manuscript entitled "Pass It On, Art HIStory". Parts of it he has published on his website along with his gallery. In addition to his paintings, he has been blessed with opportunities all around the world to leave murals and hopes they will inspire and bring always something positive to the viewer. MuralsByPeter.com is his online mural gallery.

Please see Teekamp's Tsunami-inspired painting for charity on Ebay now (Item #3777180375) as well as many other donations for this cause by searching "Tsunami Relief" on Ebay.
