IBG Starts Off The New Year With A Fresh Set Of Teleconferences On Emerging Biometrics, Privacy, AND Cell Phones.

International Biometric Group (IBG) extends an invitation to participate in IBG’s monthly teleconference series on Thursday, January 13 at 1:00 pm ET (10:00 am PT). In these teleconferences, IBG will explore the latest topics in the biometrics industry and address questions such as:

  • How can biometrics actually protect privacy?

As biometrics continue to make headlines through high-profile national security programs and government deployments around the world, privacy groups voicing “Big Brother” fears have become increasingly vocal. In this teleconference, learn about the privacy issues associated with the use of biometrics and how privacy risks can be mitigated.

HIGH-TECH TRANSACTIONS: BIOMETRICS IN RETAIL (2:30 PM ET)

Consumer-oriented applications in the private sector are paving a promising market for biometrics beyond public sector deployments.
