This is an important and unique partnership because companies now have the option of having expanded visibility when they issue a press release over PRWeb. Under the new agreement, ThomasB2B will categorize all PRWeb press releases using the Thomas standard industrial classification system. PRWeb press releases will be run through the 10,918 classifications in the ThomasB2B taxonomy. Sponsored ads that are appropriate to the page content will be displayed. The ads are served by ThomasB2Bs pay-per-click ad network. Each click will generate revenue for both PRWeb and ThomasB2B. In cases where the press release has been paid by a PRWeb client, no ads will appear on the landing page.
