Washout Systems of Las Vegas to provide critical Concrete Washout Services for the trade show.

Concrete Washout Systems, Inc., (CWS) announced today that Hanley Wood’s World of Concrete 2005, has enlisted the assistance of Concrete Washout Systems, Inc.’s partner, Washout Systems, LLC of Las Vegas, NV, to assist in their overall risk management and compliance plans relating to concrete washout for their upcoming show.

World of Concrete 2005, the leading marketplace for the $84 billion industry, is the largest annual international construction tradeshow, where commerce and construction converge and will be hosted at the Las Vegas Convention Center during the week of January 18-21. CWS will be providing concrete washout and washwater containment services through their Las Vegas partner, Washout Systems. CWS will be in booth number N2010 and will host a press conference on Thursday, January 20 at 10AM, outside south of the Mega Demo area. For more, visit http://www.worldofconcrete.com.

World of Concrete 2005 will be attended by such companies as; Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT), Case (NYSE: CNH), CEMEX (NYSE: CX), Cummings (NYSE: CMI), Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB), Terex (NYSE: TEX), Peterbilt (NASDAQ: PCAR), Ingersoll-Rand (NYSE: IR), Weyerhaeuser (NYSE: WY), Putzmeister America and Schwing.

“Using Concrete Washout Systems allows WOC to easily contain our washout materials and keep our outdoor exhibit space free of concrete slurry produced by various exhibitor demonstrations," stated Sue Basham, WOC Outdoor Exhibit Manager. "Substantial quantities of concrete waste water are generated in the Outdoor Exhibit Area. Concrete Washout Systems provides a critical service in containing waste water enabling us to comply with WOC’s no discharge policy. Managing waste water is always a challenge at the show, added Ms. Basham, but this year Concrete Washout Systems is making the job much easier."

“Providing washout services for the World of Concrete this year will allow us to not only provide a risk management service for the show but also allow us to display our patent pending system to the key players that will most likely be using our systems in the field,” stated Mark Jenkins, President of Concrete Washout Systems, Inc. “The versatility of our product and flexibility of our services make us a perfect fit for World of Concrete and we look forward to providing our containment services for future shows,” added Mr. Jenkins.

The patent pending CWS is a portable, self-contained and watertight bin that controls, captures and contains concrete washout material and wastewater. It allows trade personnel to easily washout concrete trucks, pumps and equipment on site and facilitates easy off site recycling of the same concrete materials and wastewater, while protecting the storm drain system from potential illegal discharges. The off site recycling component creates an even more environmentally sound application as concrete material is diverted away from landfills and recycled. This system replaces other outdated washout BMP’s, which are costly, unsightly and damaging to the environment since their containment value diminishes, due to inherently faulty material, over use and lack of maintenance.
