Kevin Mawae to Hold Super Bowl Auction to Benefit Leesville High

(PRWEB) January 12, 2005 -- Six-time NFL Pro Bowl center Kevin Mawae will hold his third annual Super Bowl auction on www.ebay.com to benefit both the John Mawae Scholarship and the Leesville High School football fund. The auction will consist of two Super Bowl XXXIX tickets, five-day/four-night accommodations, and tickets to the National Football League Players Association/Players Inc. parties in Jacksonville, Florida. The auction will begin on Tuesday, January 11 and run through Monday, January 17.

The John Mawae Scholarship fund began in 1997 and is awarded to college bound students from Leesville High School with a major in education, physical education or physical therapy leading to a career in higher education or sports. Kevin began the scholarship after the death of his older brother John.

The Leesville High School Football fund was founded in 1998 by Kevin to provide financial support to the needs of the schools football program. A portion of the payment for this auction will be tax deductible.
