New YOrk's Hotel Pennsylvania unveils special amenities and activities for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show

The 129th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show takes place on February 14th and 15th 2005 at Madison Square Garden, across from New Yorks Hotel Pennsylvania. To mark this special occasion, the property has established a variety of onsite activities and amenities to assist with the Show, including:

1) In association with the Westminster Kennel Club, the Pennsylvania Hotel will host a live pre-show and post-show broadcast satellite feed from the Hotels Main Lobby with participants of the Westminster Dog Show. The pre-show feed will give an opportunity for different media market outlets to interview participants from their corresponding local market. The pre-show feed will take place in the Hotel Lobby on Friday, February 11th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The post-show feed will give an opportunity for different media market outlets to interview with the Best In Show winner and judge, as well as other group winners. 2) The Pennsylvania Hotel will host another poster signing with the noted artist of the recently unveiled Westminster painting. Poster signings will take place in the Hotel Lobby on Saturday, February 12th from 1 -- 5 p.m. and on Sunday, February 13th from 2 -- 5 p.m.

The spectacular water color painting, created by Misha Lenn is rich with dogs and people, and is entitled Westminster. Theres only one." This is his second painting commemorating the world's greatest dog show. Last year's poster sold out. Proceeds from the sale of this year's edition of the poster will go to support Angel On A Leash, the Westminster Kennel Club's therapy dog program at the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian.

3) As in previous years, the Hotel has once again converted one of its lower lobby ballrooms into what is perhaps the largest in-door 'doggie Green Room and Spa area in all of New York.
