C-Search Brings the Power of the Web Crawler to the Domino.Doc Enterprise with the Release of C-Search for Domino.Doc (Document Manager) R1.0.

Wellington, New Zealand - January 14, 2005 -- C-Search Limited today announced the release of C-Search for Domino.Doc (Document Manager). C-Search brings web crawling techniques to the Domino domain allowing organizations to build a fast and lightweight searchable index of quality managed content. Unlike web crawlers however, C-Search has a built in design and location awareness of the applications in the domain. C-Search for Domino.Doc is ideal for organizations with multiple libraries spread across many servers. The system allows users to find and retrieve information from these libraries regardless of their location or the location of the original documents. Searches can even be performed from a server where Domino.Doc is not installed.

- Web and Notes search screens
- Simple and advanced search screens
- Ability to sort and refine results
- Launch attachments direct from results screens without opening Domino.Doc
- Read profile information without opening Domino.Doc
- Step through results one by one without losing focus on result set
- Popup of document descriptions from results screens (IE only)
- Support for user favorites with change notification
- A built in RSS News reader

C-Search for Domino.Doc provides full cross library and cross server search capabilities to the organization with:
- Point and click setup
- A range of indexing options
- A crawler that automatically tracks content and infrastructure changes to the Domino.Doc enterprise
- Design awareness ensures the automatic detection of custom subform and document type subform fields
- Full location awareness ensuring users are routed to nearest materials from search results

C-Search for Domino.Doc is entirely Domino based and will run on any Domino server (R5.01 or later). The system does not require any design changes to be made to the library or file cabinet templates.

C-Search for Domino.Doc is licensed to a domain and can be installed on any number of servers in that domain. This makes C-Search for Domino.Doc the most cost effective way of searching your Domino.Doc enterprise.
