BzzAgent Fills Word-of-Mouth Holes for NOLS

BzzAgent® Inc, a word-of-mouth marketing and research firm, today launched a pro bono BzzCampaign for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), the renowned wilderness experience and leadership organization founded in 1965. The 12-week program will engage the efforts of 3,000 volunteer brand evangelists nationwide to raise awareness of NOLS among outdoor enthusiasts, corporate executives, educators and aspiring leaders.

The 12-week program will engage the efforts of 3,000 volunteer brand evangelists nationwide to raise awareness of NOLS among outdoor enthusiasts, corporate executives, educators and aspiring leaders. Famous graduates of NOLS programs include David Breashears, director of the IMAX® film Everest, Sebastian Junger, author of The Perfect Storm, and Britton Keeshan, the youngest person to achieve the highest summits on all seven continents.

"NOLS is an organization that has always relied on word of mouth for the recruitment of our students," says Bruce Palmer, Director of Admission and Marketing, NOLS. "As a non-profit organization I assumed that NOLS could never afford to participate in a BzzAgent campaign. Then one day I was cruising around the BzzAgent website and came across the GoodBzz information. I filled out the application and a few months later NOLS was selected."
