New Auction Site Challenges eBay By Providing Local City Auctions For Trading in Spokane Washington And The Inland Northwest.

Medical Lake, Washington- based FotoAds.com announced its intent to shake up the world of online auctions, by offering local trading in Spokane Washington and the Inland Northwest. FotoAds offers $2.00 ads and no confusing auction fees like ebay.

(PRWEB) January 15, 2005 -- FotoAds.com's founder and owner Scott Christenson, says it's time - "It's time for local trading in the Spokane Washington and the Inland Northwest, it's time to get rid of confusing and expensive auction fees, it's time for FotoAds.com"

"It's time someone challenged the worlds largest, most expensive online auction entity--eBay, who recently increased their selling fees." Christenson has been working as an FAA air traffic controller at Spokane International Airport since 1993. Scott has over twenty-three years of air traffic control experience starting with the 242 CBCS(combat communications squadron)Washington Air National Guard in 1981. Scott retired from the Washington Air National Guard as a part-time reservist in 1997, at the rank of SMSgt. Scott was hired by the FAA in 1987 and worked four years at Seattle ARTCC(air route traffic control center)in Auburn, Washington, before transferring back to Spokane. Christenson said, "I don't know alot about computers except they're frustrating, but I liked the idea of trading over the internet after using ebay. After being told it wasn't possible or affordable to build a site like this, I met my partner, David Tschope. David is a computer expert living in Spokane, Washington and helped me find a programmer that built FotoAds auction program. It was a long and expensive process, and after six years of struggling, we finally opened for business in May of 2003."

"My goal was to introduce an easy to use, easy to navigate, online auction and classified ads site, at a price everyone could afford. It's my belief we have done just that", said Christenson. "We have taken the complexity and confusion out of listing and closing fees, and provided our users with an easy to use site that's set up for your local community trading."

FotoAds offers $2.00 photo classified ads and auctions with optional fees to highlight ads for extra exposure. Optional fees include bold letters, highlighted background, attention grabbers, featured ads on the main page, top of the page, and in the gallery. There are no hidden charges, listing fees, insertion fees, or percentage of sale closing fees, etc... Its shouldn't be confusing to place an ad, and FotoAds has made it simple. All that's left to do, is get the word out and recruit a customer base that is willing to work with FotoAds to build up the traffic to ensure everyone gets the most out of their online auction experience.

In 1998 the leading online auction sites generated a combined gross sales of 1.4 billion -- by the end of 2005 eBay alone claims they will have gross sales of over 30 billion dollars and today employ over 5500 people with over 114 million registered users.

If your tired of paying ebays expensive and confusing auction fees, then visit FotoAds.com, the small guy that is taking on eBay, by offering cheap local auctions in the Inland Northwest.
