My approach is to let the action of the painting or ceramic design lead the way from canvas to ceramic and vice versa," says Clifford. I start with sweeping brush strokes--sometimes recognizing the inspiring curve of a guitar or a woman. The viewer completes the piece by aligning themselves with the lines, forms and colors of the integrated mediums-creating an interactive work of art."

About Patrick Clifford
Cliffords grandfather, Henning Andersen-also an artist-first introduced him to the visual arts in the early 1980's. Since then Cliffords work has continually evolved to greater levels of design, color, and balance that is evident in his latest work.
