InHouse Video, Peekskill, NY Wins National Aegis Award

InHouse Video Creative Services has won a 2004 Aegis Award for a 10 minute video produced for Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art. The Aegis Awards are the video industry's premier competition for peer recognition of outstanding video productions and non-network TV commercials." The Peekskill Project" was honored in the "Documentary" category for its outstanding production quality by a distinguished panel of judges representing industry professionals from around the country.

Peekskill, NY (PRWEB) January 16, 2005 -- The Peekskill Project" video was created as a public relations tool to be used as a fundraiser for The Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art.

The Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art Commissioned Peekskill Artist Thom Pernice to document the Peekskill Project event. The project aimed to expose a wide-ranging public to the world of contemporary art outside of the traditional museum setting. The artists who participated were of all ages, most from the New York City region but several from other states and other countries. The artists were inspired in some way by the City of Peekskill with its rich history, diverse community, beautiful natural setting along the Hudson River, and burgeoning artist's community. The Documentary explores the scope and diversity of the artist, their work, unique installations and HVCCS's involvement with the event and community.
