The Small Object Proves Good Things Come in Small Packages + Editions

Independent artist and designer launches a new collection of playful accessories and paper goods that will soon have you smitten for smore!

(PRWEB) January 16, 2005 -- The Small Object is a new company that launched in January 2005, producing individually handcrafted items that feature delightful drawings and vintage inspired designs. Created in small editions, the premier line beckons us back to our youth with paper goods and accessories, along with unique items for the smallest members of your family!

The current collection includes a stationery set recalling each of our five senses, a playful pin pack of shrinky dink doodles, embroidered photo albums and a felt flower muff hat to chase away the winter blues! The original illustrations and designs deliver a sensibility that is deliciously dear and celebrates the unique and playful of the everyday. With the birth of her niece and nephew, she created gifts just for them that grew into the Fill-in-the-Blanks Family Tree" print, a Count Your Lucky Stars" pillow and appliquéd diaper bags with animals so cute and friendly theyre bound to bring a smile from any passerby! You can see them all at the online store, www.thesmallobject.com.

The objects are the creation of Sarah Neuburger who stretched out her manufacturing arm with the launch of The Small Object. She received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2001 and recently moved out of New York City to begin production on the collection. She currently lives in South Carolina where she has a little more breathing space and is closer to her family. Dedicated to infusing creative objects into every part of our lives, The Small Object is committed to bringing good design and thoughtful products to the rest of us.

The Small Object was born out of the belief that good things do come in small packages and gifts, of all types, are the most beautiful things in the world. The company remains steadfast in the belief that sometimes spilt milk is only just a cloud in the sky and having clouds for dinner is wonderful proposition.
