Tropi-Ties Swimwear Unveils its Signature 2005 Swimwear Line

Tropi-Ties Swimwear unveils its newest, signature, swimwear line for 2005. The theme for this yearÂ?s collection is, Â?Swimwear From Around the World.Â? The line can be seen at the upcoming trade shows and by appointment.

Tropi-Ties Swimwear, one of the leading online swimwear retailers, (,) is now unveiling their own, 2005 swimwear line. Up until now, the Tropi-Ties Signature line has only been available to consumers through Tropi-Ties’ online catalog. However, this year, Tropi-Ties will be inviting other, “brick and mortar,” retailers to carry their wares.

The theme for this year’s collection is, “swimwear from around the world,” with influences from the South Seas and Hawaii, as well as the French and Italian Rivieras of the 60’s and 70’s. The line is geared for the young, Missy, market with a hip and trendy styling. Most of Tropi-Ties’ newest suits are bikinis that offer just slightly more coverage than the average, Brazilian swimsuit. However, they are far from prudish or dowdy.

“We really wanted to bring out the seductiveness and stylish look of the James Bond/ Jackie ‘O’ era, but we also gave our swimsuits a more modern and updated look and fit. I also wanted to bring back that Polynesian, “South Seas,” look that I grew up loving as a kid. It evokes such great adventure and mystery. Many of the bikinis are made from luxurious, Italian Lycra, fabrics that are more refined than what is on the market today. Among the more traditional, bikini styles, Tropi-Ties has also created a new, “blousette,” bikini top that is similar to a tankini top, but is cut away in the front and has a draping back. The edges are ruffled and trimmed of in French, button, details. It has had a tremendous, positive, response from both, teens and the swimwear industry.

“This top is fabulous on its own, but it also looks great with a pair of jeans or skirt, which makes it perfect for traveling. Tropi-Ties will be showing its new line in the upcoming, MAGIC, apparel show in Las Vegas, February 13th, through February 17th, 2005, as well as other, upcoming, trade shows, such as the Swimwear Association of Florida’s July Swimwear show in Miami.
