Kennedy-Western University Launches Criminal Justice Degree Program

New criminal justice degree program launched this week will serve the needs of law enforcement officers, corrections staff, criminal justice personnel and private investigators and security personnel interested in advancing their careers.

Cheyenne, WY (PRWEB) January 20, 2005 -- Kennedy-Western University (KWU) announced today that it has launched a criminal justice Bachelors degree program in KWUs School of Health and Public Administration. The new criminal justice degree program will serve the needs of law enforcement officers, corrections staff, criminal justice personnel and private investigators and security personnel interested in advancing their careers.

The program is specifically structured to be equally applicable to individuals in both administrative and non-administrative roles. It provides students with a broad-based understanding of both technical and procedural aspects of the tripartite system of criminal justice, i.e., police, courts and corrections.

Established in 1984, KWU is an online university offering Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degree programs in Business Administration, Health Administration, Engineering and Information Systems.

As with all KWU degree programs, students may be eligible to receive employer reimbursement of tuition or flexible student loans.

Since 1984 Kennedy-Western University (KWU) has provided distance and online degree programs to over 30,000 students. The University provides rigorous, academically challenging self-paced Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degree programs. Three of four of its faculty of 140 credentialed professors -- most of whom are simultaneously employed by major traditional universities throughout the country ‑ hold Ph.D. degrees from accredited universities. These programs contribute to the educational, economic and social advancement of mid-career professionals.
